St Clair Public School is committed to providing comprehensive educational programs from Kindergarten to Year 6 students in a secure and nurturing environment which caters for the individual needs of children and encourages excellence.
We offer a comprehensive curriculum in literacy, numeracy, technology, creative arts, science, social and environmental skills, physical education and fitness. The school focus is on improving student learning outcomes by providing high quality teaching and learning experiences and encouraging students to seek knowledge, develop their skills and form attitudes to enhance their quality of life.
An added resource is the support unit which caters for students with intellectual disabilities and students with autism. We also provide students with the opportunity to develop their interests and abilities by providing programs for students to succeed at the highest level in academic, sporting, cultural and performing arts areas.
The school enjoys a great deal of community support and parents are encouraged to enter into a partnership with the school staff based on shared responsibility and mutual respect. The school aims to achieve effective learning and good discipline in a productive and harmonious environment; where children understand appropriate behaviour and take responsibility for their own behaviour.
St Clair Public School opened in 1981 and is situated in a well-established community and supports students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
