The parents and citizens' association (P&C) assists the school by running fundraisers throughout the year.
These include Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls as well as Hot Dog Days and other fun things. All of the money raised by these fundraisers is donated back into the school and is used for a variety of items that the school may require. Most recently the P&C has contributed towards the cost of a class set of iPads.
All parents and community members within the school are able to become members of the P&C – there is a small joining fee of $1 for the whole year. Membership entitles you to voting rights at our general meetings as well as our annual general meeting. It also covers insurance costs for any P&C activity that you may volunteer for or attend.
Meetings are held in the staffroom on Tuesday evenings at 7pm, usually in Weeks 3 and 8 of each term and everyone is welcome to attend. It is a great opportunity to meet other parents and find out information about what is happening at our school.
